I am new to the ar platform ,so new my first one is still in layaway, Its a Remington r-25 308 .Like I said I am new to the ar doing most of my shooting with M1as' or 1911s' . I assumed all ar 308s; were the same so I bought a very nice Badger Ordnance free float handguard from another forum for a AR-10 thinking it would fit on Remington /DPMS but evidently it will not .I contacted Marty at Bad-Ord to see if I could purchase the correct barrel nut but he refused to help me. I have always liked the looks of the handguard and I know it would probibly look strange with a camo receiver but I bought the thing and my wife is going to give me a lot greif if it does not work so I was hoping some of you long time ar shooters might have some sugestion or just opinions.
