What's the deal with promag 20 high cap mags? I have 5 brand new 20 round mags and a bunch of 30 round mags. The 30s work perfectly but the 20s don't even catch and hold. It's like the mold was a little short. How do you fix this problem or just send them back?

The lower I have is a rock river arms.

Thoughts?

For the most part Promag mags are junk. Send them back.

they are the polymer promag 20 round. I"m not sure what a pmag is. Sorry, I'm sort of new at the AR thing.

I had polymer promags for my mini-14 that worked great so when I decided to build an AR I sold all of my mini-14 stuff and bought the AR version.

The 20 round polymer magazines don't even catch. The 30 round polymer magazines work great.

Get rid of the Promag mags and get some PMAGs and/or Lancer mags.

I bought 6 new C-Production 30 rd mags with magpul followers. Very light weight and lock in place.

It's strange that the 30 rnd promags work but the 20 rnds don't. It's that slot on the let side that locks the mag in place. It must be in the wrong place it just won't click in. I like the promags but not if they won't work properly. Do you think it might be the receiver? Mine is from Rock River.
