I'm on the list at BCM and check at Grants frequently. Is there anyone else out there that would carry an LMT, CMT, or BCM BCG (preferrably full auto)

thx-c

Check out Grant's BCG's. They are in stock, and his stuff has a good reputation around here. I should be receiving the two I ordered Monday, so I can let you know how it looks, but I'm not going to shoot a thousand rounds on it right away.

G and R's web site shows the M16 Bolt Carrier Group in stock.
Type in Bolt Carrier Group in the search then go to the "next page" and its listed there for 139.00. I ordered one the other day.

I ordered a LMT SA BCG from Chad at e-guns this past week. He has a handful of them in stock at the time.

How? The LMT and BCM bcg's are all sold out on G&R web-site.....

I just ordered one from G&R Tactical. Thanks Grant!!

There's a G&R-specific M16-profile BCG, for $139. It's NOT a LMT or BCM. That's the one we're talking about. If you were to hit the "Next Page" button at the bottom of the screen you're probably already looking at, you'll see this:

http://www.gandrtactical.com/cgi-bin/commerce.cgi?search=action&searchstart=9&keywords=group%20bolt%20carrier

Hit the icon in the upper-right corner that says G&R Tactical Bolt Carrier Group, and note the "Previous Page" button at the bottom. Those page buttons seem to be like Kryptonite to a lot of folks, for some reason.

The <Next> feature is complicated!

What is the consensus opinion on this BCG? Who makes it? Is it in the same league as the BCM or LMT?

Thanks Riverine

That is the BCG I ordered.

I never noticed the "next page" button. I must need to have my eyes checked :D

MP bolts?

I dont think so.

He had said at one point that they were not IIRC.

...although i think the one in the free giveway may have been?

It may vary.

Grant, are the bolts MP tested?

They are not.

We do gurantee them to function without issue or your money back.

I dont think these are MPI or HPT. Read the post on page one with the link to his industry forum. However he stated that he would stand behind them. Thats all i needed to hear.

yeah, i only paid attention to the first dates of the threads. but the comment that they are NOT tested is the most recent. regardless, i have no doubts about the bcg

Are they better than a BM bcg?

Better than BM? Yes. Better than BCM or LMT? No.

These are not our standard BCG that we assemble in house. We bought them from another company. While I think they are a good quality, we did not build them from scratch.

Bolts and BC's are SO RARE these days, we will take anything we can get our hands on (well most anything). ;)

As awlays, if anyone has any problems with the BCG's we sell, we fully warranty them.

MP bolts ?

No. The bolts are only batch tested MP. This is why we did NOT even list them as MP.

The one we did give away was OUR BCG that is HPT and MP'd (assembled in house).

Those are, but that is not what we are currently selling.

Anyone know who has good quality BCGs in stock?

don't any of you folks who need a BCG ever go to gun shows ?? i went to the "CrossRoads of The West" gun show both Sat. & Sun. this past weekend and i saw many GOOD BCG's, i believe the prices were reasonable (from $135.00 to $240.00) considering S&H charges if ordered on line, i do not recall what the mfgr. of this BCG is of this $200.00 BCG was very nicely finished bright stainless steel, the bolt was a grayish color, the gas key was staked very nicely, if i needed a BCG (i have 5 Colt spares) i believe that would be my first choice.
