Found a colt 6920

I have located a colt 6920,new in box with 2 20 round mags.The seller wants $1,899 for it.I have looked all over and have seen some priced slightly less but they are all out of stock.My questions are as follows:1)Is this a fair price for the rifle or am I getting ripped a new one?2) Does anyone know of anywhere that has some 6920's in stock and ready to ship for a lower price than $1,899.00? I am brand new to ar15's and even considered getting a Spikes Tactical ST-15 but really do not have any idea how it compares to the quality of the Colts.Does anyone have any first hand experience on the ST-15 that they would be willing to share with me.The only thing I know about the Spikes Tactical ST-15 is that it is only $1,100.00 compared to the $1,899.00 for the Colt.I plan on using this rifle for several carbine classes every year in order to become more proficient with it,so I definetly want something that will hold up.Thanks in advance.

Atlantic Firearms lists the 6920 for $1799.00.

I just bought a 6721 off of them 3 weeks ago for $1789.00 + $20.00 shipping and $55.90 Convenience Fee total $1,863.27.

A few weeks back lawmens.com had some 6721s in stock for around $1,200-$1,300, no 6920s in stock though. Give them a call and see what they have.

Try Ken at www.wildwestguns.com He sometimes has them in stock for what passes for reasonable these days.
