I held a Wilson CQB Compact and loved the size. I see they have a lightweight version of the compact, now. It's probably wishful thinking, but has anyone here had one of the CQB compacts and put a LOT of rounds through it?

I've steered clear of the compact 1911s, maintaining only 5" guns. I keep distrusting the compacts, but have a fanciful hope that this one is an exception.

Maybe I should occupy my mind with more realistic pursuits...

Thanks for any feedback.

I have a CQB compact. I used it to back up my Protector while attending Guniste and Pat Rogers Carbine, and Awerbuck handgun all at Boone Co. In. I swithced off and used the compact during some strings of fire. I don't have near as many rounds through it as the Protector, but the compact has been just as reliable. knock on wood, I did not have any malfunctions through any of the classes with any of my weapons.
