Most good sites have you register. I don't mind doing that as it keeps out porn/spamers.....it's no problem for me.

Sorry just trying to limit the current members to IPs located in NC and SC at the moment and keep out the spamers, porn bots, etc..... That may change at some point.

Being an FFL myself my email addy is the least of my worries, seeing as the Feds want my first born, blood sample, stool sample, and complete house layout in order for me to do business. I know thats is being goofy but just saying

I know you can't explore without registering. If you take a moment to register I will have you approved in short order. (Or one of the other admins)

Just so you know I am totally upfront with you

My email is trinc.nc@gmail.com

FFL is under TR, Inc.

I signed up and look forward to participating in this board for a couple of reasons.

First, it hooks me up with folks in my area who share my interests and is a venue to share knowledge. I, like I suspect many, do not talk a lot about my interest in shooting and hunting. Even in the Carolinas, where there are a lot of folks who were raised in a hunting/shooting tradition, there are nonetheless a lot of folks who are not familiar with firearms and are afraid of "guns" and think we are all "gun-nuts" prone to violence. I simply don't need that "noise" in my life.

Second, boards like M4 and Carolina Gun Talk can and should be political action committees. I doubt anyone among us doubts there will only be more attempts to reduce, if not eliminate, our 2nd Amend. rights. These boards give us a way to mobilize & organize to resist these efforts.

I recently met Neil and have done some business with him in his capacity as an FFL. You can take everything he says at face value; he's a straight shooter.

Stay safe.

I appreciate the kind words. The board is growing well after two weeks about 300 fellow Carolinians have joined and engaged in conversation on the board. Good start to something positive locally for our fellow gun owners.
