View Full Version : AR Books and DVDs
After getting my Armalite AR 15 I have been looking at books, manuals, CDs & DVDs about them. There seems to be an endless supply so I thought I'd through the idea out here in hopes of finding people who had weeded out some of the litature and media that was no good. Midway has a AR-15 Gunsmithing DVD in their latest flyer that looks interesting. Has anyone seen it. In the book section of their web site I see alot of books and pamplets. Any help will be appreciated.
Book: Green Eyes and Black Rifles by Kyle Lamb
DVDs: The Art of the Tactical Carbine by Magpul Dynamics and Benny Cooley's 11 Mastering the AR-15 Rifle
just my .02
I enjoyed Sweeny's The Book of the AR-15, Vol 1&2 and Glen Zediker's The Competitive AR-15, and The Competitive AR-15: The Ultimate Technical Manual

I would also add Combat Fundamentals: An Unconventional Approach by Jeff Gonzales and the On Combat and On Killing series by Dave Grossman.
+1 on magpuls dvd the drills cd is worth the money alone
I can second Combat Fundamentals: An Unconventional Approach. Good book.

I have AGI's Technical Manual and Armorer's Course DVD and the U.S. Army's manual on Rifle Marksmanship.
I need to add more things to the library.
