anybody try or own the Rock River Arms 7" .223 pistol? how reliable?

my wife want one and she wants to do a conversion to SBR later when ATF approved it. she loves it weight just 5lbs, but i am worry about how reliable on a 7" barrel.

Talked to Pete the other day and he said 25 weeks. Pete is the # 1 RRA dealer around.

I bought a stripped pistol lower from Spikes tactical; shipped in 2 weeks.

Stag LPK; shipped in 3 weeks.

LMT 10.5" upper; bought wen they were in stock at Bravo Co.

BCG; bought from G&R last week.

All the other parts were easy to source.

If you keep your eye out, you will be able to find enough parts to build an AR pistol rather than buy some RRA POS.

...that's my take on it.

class 3 in houston lists RRA on their sight quite often. You may wanna give them a call to check availability w/them...

Assemble one yourself if your in a hurry, usually not to difficult to find the needed parts.

They are not all bad. I have a select fire Carbon 15 lower over here. I rebuilt it, it runs fine. Believe me, I'm beating on it.

I'm sure ours were hand selected for sand box use.
The only negative thing about them, the safety will rotate 360 degrees.
