Last week I saw one at Gilbert's small arms range. Complete upper for $730.00 or something like that.
Wow - Gilberts. They were my range when I did my stint at Belvoir. Will have to swing back by and check them out. I just hate the 95 Interchange.
Hey Slut - lets keep each other informed!
Copes Distributing is supposed to have some in stock, and the price is about right for what they're selling on Gunbroker

Does anyone know where to get just a BCG and barrel. I would like to have one but do not want to pay for a complete upper
I saw a S&W at Blythe's Sport Shop in Valparaiso, IN the other day.

I don't mean to hijack your thread, but have you had any experience with them yet. I have been very dissapointed in the two I have fired. Seems like there aren't any magazines that are reliable for them yet.

What issues are you having? The newer C-Products mags while not idea are pretty good and I have had no issues. I bought a dozen and have ran them pretty hard. I own two 5.45 ARs and while I had some issues in the begining, I have resolved them. I made one of them into a SBR and it is my go to trainer at this point due to rising ammo cost. Between the two rifles I have shot over 3000 rounds down range. It will run, it just might need a little love.
At $150 for 1000 rounds dont give up on this. Its worth the pain.

The ammo cost is a definate plus and the main reason for my interest in the uppers. The problem has been the same with several CProducts mags. Multiple FTF's until the mag gets down to about 10 rnds and then they seem to occur less.

Mine works flawlessly with older and newer C Products mags and almost flawlessly with Lancer 5.56 mags.
I'm having issues with multiple magazines. Binding followers, failure to lock open on the last round. I'm getting tired of fooling around with this thing trying to find magazines that will work 100%.
I recently swapped bulgarian mag springs into my c products mags trying to fix the weak springs the cp mags come with. Had to use Bulgarian AK74 springs since Wolff extra power springs wouldn't fit in my mags. The Bulgy springs haven't totally killed my feeding issues and I lose 3-5 rds of capacity. The few Lqnders that I've tried have been hit or miss, mostly miss due to binding followers with 5.45. They're fine for 5.56, so that's no dig on the magazine. I haven't found another mag that'll reliably feed more than 10 rds.
I'm getting a little frustrated with mine.

Have you checked everything else? I'm running an H1 buffer on mine.
I have swapped between an H and a standard buffer, weak and strong buffer springs. It locks back more reliably with the standard buffer and a weak buffer spring. Granted, the strong one was a brand new ISMI so it was stiff.
I think the mag issue is it's own thing. I haven't found a mag yet where the floorplate won't bind up. I'm calling C Products soon to see about swapping out my mags for new ones.
I've had no problems with my CP mags. All of them function fine and have been very reliable.
If you're having issues with slow followers (bolt over base malfunctions), hit the inside of the mag body with Teflon silicone spray. Just stick the red tube in the base plate hole.
You shouldn't have to do it, I know, but nor should you be paying $400/1000 for .223 ammo.
AIM Surplus is selling the S&W upper for $570:

Nah - notice no "add to cart" - I called them a couple of weeks ago too - mentioned that was a "squirrly" item...
Last week I came across an M15R, more than I wanted to spend, but its another lower anyway. Should have in hand in a couple of days.
Look carefully grasshopper and you will see that it is out of stock. It says preorder just below the pic.

Huh, I ordered a stripped flat-top upper receiver from them a week ago and coulda sworn they had them in stock.
I've been trying to find two complete uppers also with no luck. At least for less than $600.

I looked for about a month and bought one just the upper from GM with 6 mags 849.00. I finished last week. I have about 6000k rounds of the 5.45 and just ordered another 1080. I'm looking to get a MIllet DMS to top her off.

That aint going happen soon. They are selling so fast. I know a complete unit in Waco, Tx at a dealer he wants 1500 and that aint rite.
I love gouging. I feel dirty from spending just over a grand on a complete M15R. Interesting, Colt lowers actually state the caliber you buy it in, even though the work for all calibers(7.62x39, 9mm, etc). You couldnt tell via the lower what the caliber was/is so this lower can generically go anywhere without raising attention. OK - the big reg spring around the hammer and 50lb trigger pull might give it away.
