Colt has made a side sling attachment, like the one on the 6920/M4, for the thinner so-called "pencil" barrels like you find on the 6520 and 6933. I had one in the past and foolishly sold it when I sold the rifle it was on (especially foolish since the buyer had no idea of what I was selling him).
What I am NOT looking for is one of the two-sided ones that work with a .750 and .625 barrel. I'm looking for the dedicated version that works with the .625 "pencil" barrel only.
Does anyone know of a source for these? SAW has the 6920/M4 kit meant for the .750 barrel (at $60, of course) but not the one for the ..625 barrel.
