A month or so ago they had a brief pre-order period through Magpul. They started shipping the pre-orders late last week (just FDE and black from what I understand). A Magpul rep stated that retailers should have them in stock soon.

I have a M&P-15 MOE with an MBUS rear sight on it in my shop here in TN.

It's freakin' sweet.

There's a set for sale on gunbroker. $140 for the rear, $120 for the front.

Those are the PTS versions guys.

They are NOT the same as the real thing.

The Airsoft ones are constructed in the same manner but are made out of off the shelf polymer.

The real deal ones are made out of recycled beard hair from Costas face and a drop or two of Haleys perspiration hence their indestructible nature.

Uh..its not so? :D

There's a difference. The official Magpul MBUS's are made in America.

The PTS stuff is marketed to a different crowd and is made in Hong Kong.

Legit retailers are clearly marking their items as PTS or Official Magpul Schwag depending on what their target markets are.

Why would I pay the same price for airsoft grade as I would for the real thing??

I understand one is available right now and one is not... but that just sounds dumb to me...

I quick look on eBay a while ago told me not to buy Magpul stuff on eBay... it is impossible to tell the real deal from the airsoft the way people market it on there...

Lots of things look real but aren't.

But those ones in the airsoft link are clearly labeled PTS.
