an individual that frequents the place i work at today was talking politics and obama and general were doomed stuff with me today when he brought up that the chinese have troops and tanks south of the border. he believes that obama is screwing things up so much so that he can stir up a revolution, and then alow the mexicans and chinese to help crush the revolution, thus bringing communism to the united states. he said that theres something like two million chinese troops in mexico.

my BS alarm started goin off as soon as he said chinese troops in mexico, and then upon google searching the topic, all the stuff i found on the subject was from some nut job "i got abducted by aliens" sort of websites.

im asking you guys, is there any validity to these statements at all? has anybody else herd this? this is about one of the most far fetched things ive herd since y2k. I would think that if this were even the least bit valid that i would have herd glen beck ranting about it first. sounds like gunshop sorta stuff.

That might have been because a Chinese company has control of both ends of the Panama Canal( or did the last time I read up on the subject) and is very involved in building container ports on the west coast of Mexico.

It is a short leap to assuming the ports are filled with PLA troops waiting to march North.

Mr.Goodtimes

yea well you know how it goes, its pretty easy to confuse chinese military with chinese company that owns panama canal.

China Ocean Shipping Company = Some Shady/Bad Folks. IIRC, they're actually a "branch" of the PLA.

There was a pretty killer book I ready, seemingly a lifetime ago, about China being, in short, not so cool. Prior to 9/11, I'd considered that there would be armed confrontation between the communist scum in China, and NATO shortly within the first two decades of the new millenium. Well, obviously I was wrong.

Still a good book:

http://www.amazon.com/China-Threat-Bill-Gertz/dp/0895262819

In CHINA THREAT, Gertz warns fellow Americans:
*How the FBI pursued six Chinese intelligence agents and never found a senior Chinese mole inside the U.S. government code-named "Ma" who had access to top secret intelligence.

*"The Hug": How spy suspect Wen Ho Lee was embraced by China's top nuclear weapons scientist during a visit to the United States. The nuclear scientist, Hu Side, was overheard by an FBI informant at the time as saying Wen Ho Lee provided great assistance to China's nuclear weapons program.

*How a classified Chinese government document, known as Document 65, reveals that China is willing to attack the United States with nuclear weapons if U.S. forces intervene to defend Taiwan in a regional conflict.

Gertz unleashes a Chinese spying manual, translated into English, revealing a massive weapons technology collection effort involving the gathering of data and covert espionage.

The timing of the book's release -- just days before the election -- has raised eyebrows in official Washington.

Gertz reported in recent days: If Texas Gov. George W. Bush is elected president, Republican national security officials are planning a major house-cleaning for the CIA's China analysis division. The Clinton-Gore administration has favored a dangerous "benign view of China," claims Gertz.

In his new book, Gertz publishes a secret White House report by NSC staff aide Gary Samore offering missile technology to China if it agrees to join the Missile Technology Control Regime limiting missile exports.

Mexican/Chinese invasion plan? Complicit Obama Administration? Doubtful.

I think Barry and his comrades will more than likely bring about socialism/communism-lite, Stateside, by continuing to pander to his core, and sell Constitutionalism, Capitalism, and Libertarian principles down the river, and allow for state takeover of almost every enterprise. The failure of previous "stabilisation" efforts will create the "need" for more and more, and then a little more, government intervention, until every business will be nothing more than an outreach of the Federal Government. More piggies, suckling and coddling at the gubment teet.

The sad fact remains, that no invasion army is necessary. The bulk of the populace will buy it all hook, line, and sinker; nay, the majority of folks will beg for government takeover of everything, up to and including the pizza joint on the corner.

WWII proved that Orwellian Tyranny won't work. Huxlean Tyranny? Works like a charm. The people will beg for a "benign" tyranny to tuck them in, and slap a Big Mac on every plate, if the Economy continues in the direction it's been going.

My man, every real conspiracy starts and ends with finance, and who can control it and how. Idealogy means nothing to the power elite. The idealogy espoused by those at the tippitty tip top is quite simply power. The easiest means to power = money. Control over the money supply = ultimate control. Since the societal system we live in, requires capital to play, the less capital you have, the less power you have. The less control over your capital you can effect, the more you are at the beck and call of the ultimate oligarchs.

Obama's a sham. He's simply the power elite's poster boy for "Change". George Carlin pretty much sums up how I feel about the Government, no matter who's running the show.

From Carlin:
"Forget the politicians. The politicians are put there to give you the idea that you have freedom of choice . . . you don’t. You have no choice. You have OWNERS. They OWN *you*. They own everything. They own all the important land. They own and control the corporations. They’ve long since bought, and paid for the Senate, the Congress, the state houses, the city halls, they got the judges in their back pockets and they own all the big media companies, so they control just about all of the news and information you get to hear. They got you by the balls. They spend billions of dollars every year lobbying . . . lobbying, to get what they want . . . Well, we know what they want. They want more for themselves and less for everybody else, but I’ll tell you what they don’t want . . . they don’t want a population of citizens capable of critical thinking. They don’t want well informed, well educated people capable of critical thinking. They’re not interested in that . . . that doesn’t help them. That’s against their interests. That’s right. They don’t want people who are smart enough to sit around a kitchen table and think about how badly they’re getting f'd by a system that threw them overboard 30 f'in years ago. They don’t want that. You know what they want? They want obedient workers . . . Obedient workers, people who are just smart enough to run the machines and do the paperwork. And just dumb enough to passively accept all these increasingly shitty jobs with the lower pay, the longer hours, the reduced benefits, the end of overtime and vanishing pension that disappears the minute you go to collect it, and now they’re coming for your Social Security money. They want your f'in retirement money. They want it back so they can give it to their criminal friends on Wall Street, and you know something? They’ll get it . . . they’ll get it all from you sooner or later cause they own this f'in place. It’s a big club and you ain't in it. You and I are not in The big club. By the way, it’s the same big club they use to beat you over the head with all day long when they tell you what to believe. All day long beating you over the head with their media telling you what to believe, what to think and what to buy. The table has tilted folks. The game is rigged and nobody seems to notice. Nobody seems to care. Good honest hard-working people . . . white collar, blue collar it doesn’t matter what color shirt you have on. Good honest hard-working people continue, these are people of modest means . . . continue to elect these rich suckers who don’t give a shit about you. They don’t give a shit about you . . . they don’t give a shit about you. They don’t care about you at all . . . at all . . . at all, and nobody seems to notice. Nobody seems to care. That’s what the owners count on. The fact that Americans will probably remain willfully ignorant of the big red, white and blue dick that’s being jammed up their ass everyday, because the owners of this country know the truth. It’s called the American Dream, 'cause you have to be asleep to believe it . . .”

China has HUGE investments in the US including mortgages of personal homes and commercial real estate. China has control of the Panama Canal and has an ever-increasing presence in Central and South America. They also have a large presence in the way of "Chinese Nationals" in Houston and Southern California.

China has asked for "imminent domain" to protect her assets in the USA. They have also gone to the WTO in 2007, I believe, to demand same. If the Economic Stimulus requires China to continue propping our economy then, I'd say, yes, they would be directly involved inside the USA during the event of we the people rising up against the US gov't. They'd be invited in (as they simultaneoulsy demanded we allow them to assist). What would become of things after that? I have no idea.

You/any of you can research China's actions relative what I've posted. It's in the public domain.

Now, whether Obama is working to do this I have NO Earthly idea. If we have an Economic Meltdown this summer as some hae been suggesting I guess we will see won't we?

Chinese troops will never invade the USA. That is just not happening. Our Navy is far too strong to allow them anywhere near our shores. If you think that the US military command would somehow allow us to be betrayed and invaded, your just not very familiar with the caliber of men involved.

We may face war with China over Taiwan someday but both sides realize there is too much money to be lost on both sides for that right now. They would forfeit all our debt if they attack and we would lose our debt purchaser if we did. Bad news for both.

Obama is running up a bill we cant pay off without giant tax increases on hopefully, just rich folks AND devalueing the dollar to make it easier to pay back. It is what it is. Not good. Probably a tragic mistake to keep spending money on fixing things like Wall Street, but he really does face one helluva mess that he did not create. The "medicine" might prove to be worse then the disease but if we dont try to cure it we are screwed too.

The real solution that YOU can provide to "change" things is to stop buying crap made in China, India, Thailand, whereversville, period. Buy the more expensive American stuff if you really want the US to get things fixed and put americans back to work. Food, ammo, clothes, your computer, your car ALL OF IT should say made in the USA if at all possible. Even your Beer choice matters dont buy BUD, (bought buy the Belgians) Corona or Heineken buy the local micro brew or Coors or whatever.

We gotta stick together too, if things really fall apart good people with weapons, silver and gold and some hunting/farming experience can still get by by teaming up for defense and labor purposes. Make alliances and have a plan. That is how this country was formed and I think a lot of people on here have that kind of backbone still. Hopefully, it wont come to that though.

Well, that's my rant for today, things are still getting worse but I think they will get better next year. If not, I am preparing for that too. Good luck and God Bless ya'll!

From Wikipedia:

Until the mid-1990s the PLA had extensive commercial enterprise holdings in non-military areas, particularly real estate. Almost all of these holdings were supposedly spun-off in the mid-1990s. In most cases, the management of the companies remained unchanged, with the PLA officers running the companies simply retiring from the PLA to run the newly formed private holding companies.[citation needed]

The history of PLA involvement in commercial enterprises began in the 1950s and 1960s. Because of the socialist state-owned system and from a desire for military self-sufficiency, the PLA created a network of enterprises such as farms, guest houses, and factories intended to financially support its own needs. One unintended side effect of the Deng-era economic reforms was that many of these enterprises became very profitable. For example, a military guest house intended for soldier recreation could be easily converted into a profitable hotel for civilian use. There were two main factors which increased PLA commercial involvement in the 1990s. One was that running profitable companies decreased the need for the state to fund the military from the government budget. The second was that in an environment where legal rules were unclear and political connections were important, PLA influence was very useful.[citation needed]

By the early 1990s party officials and high military officials were becoming increasingly alarmed at the military's commercial involvement for a number of reasons. The military's involvement in commerce was seen to adversely affect military readiness and spread corruption. Further, there was great concern that having an independent source of funding would lead to decreased loyalty to the party. The result of this was an effort to spin off the PLA's commercial enterprises into private companies managed by former PLA officers, and to reform military procurement from a system in which the PLA directly controls its sources of supply to a contracting system more akin to those of Western countries. The separation of the PLA from its commercial interests was largely complete by the year 2000. It was met with very little resistance, as the spinoff was arranged in such a way that few lost out

I don't know what's going on in Mexico, I guess we'll see sooner or later.

I believe that the Chinese military still has their hands in alot of "private" Chinese companies around the world.

Maybe my tinfoil hat is a little too tight, but I saw the Chinese building 100s of km of road in Africa free of charge. Labor is very cheap in this part of Africa yet the workers were about 90% Chinese. The road they are building is about 120 km from one of the largest purest uranium deposits in the world.

yea i do, i knew the number was BS. the reason i posted it was to see if there was any substantiated evidence of mabey small numbers of advisers over there or something. i know it would be impossible to hide 2milion troops and armor from the media, especially just south of the border. im pretty sure that some legitimate people would notice that, like, glen beck and say fox news along with every other news organization in the world?

Given the porosity of our ports and the propensity for people to be open to bribes when their country isn't the one being bombed, it wouldn't be too hard to move troops into a Mexican port 2/3k at a time. If they control access to their installations who would even now they were there.

I spent 2 work days with a Customs E-team opening containers from Colombia as they were discharged from the vessel. We found evidence of stowaways in the containers and had about 10 walk off the vessel looking like they were from East LA. Walked right into a National Guard unit posted in the container yard.

The second day we went to open a container we left at quitting time unopened and it was cut open from the inside with a hacksaw blade, blood everywhere. The Customs agent stated he would not want to run into that guy.

The China shipping lines have found several 40 ragtop containers on their vessels outfitted with living quarters for a dozen or so people. Poop in one corner and eat in the other.

That was several years ago, nothing lately, they are getting better at moving people( paranoid content)

People who understand logistics save their braincells on bullshit like this.

You would not just have to move 2 million, you would have to move their equipment, food, fuel and spare parts. Without that, they are nothing but a poorly trained and equipped light infantry.

2 million Chinese light infantry would be the biggest turkey shoot in history against a modern, western military, hell against the TX national guard for that matter.

Amen.

Chinese nationals will be INVITED in though there have been smuggling for over a decade now. Only recently has the mainstream media covered it: "Other Than Mexicans" or OTMs. There have been shipping containers of AK47s and ammo uncovered as well. Using a well known rule used in Virology: "for every one encountered there are nine others you have missed", I'd say that we have a problem...

Back to the "invite"; they hold our debt. They hold your mortgage. They hold the mortgages to a lot of commercial real estate. They are holders of 24% of the US's prodigious debt. They ALREADY have demanded imminent domain over their considerable assets and some have suggested that some agreement has already been made and re-inforced by Hilarious Clinton on her recent trip. If there is a major hiccup in the economy in which this economy collapses you WILL see Chinese authorities in some areas of the US - especially if there is significant unrest here as they will DEMAND to have their property adequately safeguarded (and who can blame them?). The promise is to continue purchasing worthless US paper assets in exchange of assisting US authorities in maintaining control of the masses. Just my intuition; time will certainly tell.
