Has anyone tried the self sticking CamoWraps?

I'm thinking of trying this before I paint my AK, and AR, and would love some feedback from the Board members. Especially on how they stand up after the rifles are fired. Thanks

looks like the same stuff they use to wrap splints and IVs and shit with. it'll work in a pinch, but won't last very long in the field. i suppose if your unit doesn't paint their M4s, you can cammie up without unathorized weapon modifications.

Go to Walgreens and buy the standard tan Coban. Its cheep and does the same thing. Iv even seen some that are 3-4" wide.

Yeah, the barrel is what i was thinking about. Will it melt, or catch on fire? I'm talking about my own personal weapons. I want to de-black my Tacticooled out AK, but still be able to bring it back to it's initial configuration for living history Re enactments, and the like.

my guess is it'll get tight after the first mag, and melt altogether during the second. just rattlecan the thing, mang.. you can dunk it in lacquer thinner later if you don't like it
