What is your favorite TUCKABLE holster and what are you carrying in it? i'm looking for one for a Kahr K40.

there were some good ideas in here (http://m4carbine.net/showthread.php?t=25181&highlight=tuckable), but i'm looking for some additional options.

I have 2 a Comp-tac CTAC and a Milt Sparks VM II. I really like both. I don't use them as tuckable holsters but as conventional IWBs w/ options they rock =). Both are very comfortable and concealable.

I think the CTAC would be the better option as a tuckable because it is significantly thinner than the VM II. I have a Phantom on order from raven as well...the quest for good holsters never ends, the possibility of a "more" comfortable option out there is difficult to disregard =) good luck!

I've tried a CTAC and felt the kydex was too sharp against my skin. I do not wear an undershirt. My favorite tuckable is Tucker Gunleather's Answer:

I feel it uses the best clips available (made by comptac) which are highly adjustable and combines the speed of kydex and the comfort of leather. However, I found that tuckable holsters with a tucked in shirt and no cover garment make me look like a tumor's growing on my hip.

I also run my M&P 45 (fullsize & compact) in a Tucker "The Answer" IWB. I have been wearing this holster daily for two years now, and it is by far the best IWB holster I have ever owned. I truly believe the Leather/Kydex hybrid holsters are the best in terms of having both the comfort of leather & adquate retention and smoothness of the draw from the Kydex. The only issue with getting a Tucker "The Answer" is that you wont get it for atleast 3 months from date of purchase.

The CompTac Minotaur MTAC is an almost identical copy of "The Answer", and you will get it in 2 weeks or less. A co-worker just received his (10 day wait), and it is a really nicely made holster. It also costs about $50 less then the Tucker.

I tried to check out Crossbreed's website but good lord, haven't seen a website that bad since 1999. Wow.

I have a Galco light summer IWB and a Mitch Rosen USD II with matching belt. Both excellent holsters. Both hold my HK45C.

Comp-Tac's CTAC is my choice. It's the only way I carry IWB these days, but I rarely use it as a tuckable. Nice to have the option, though. It carries the pistol incredibly tight into my waste and as discreetly as a full size pistol can be carried, imo.

Although leather is certainly more comfortable, I've steered away from it in general as they tend to absorb too much moisture for my taste.

I have a "Black Ops Pro" from Rocky at purekustom. I carry a G19 in it daily. It is extremely comfortable and his up and over loops work good when I do have to tuck.

No kidding. Seems Firefox really doesn't like that page.
