Im looking to install a free float rail on me and my dads rifles and im tryin to figure out how hard its going to be . for one, how will i align the FSB so that its not canted? and is it pretty straight forward stuff? will i need head spacing guages or is headspace not going to be an issue since the rifle has already been assembled? were looking at installing Larue Tactical rails.

Make sure you use correct torque amounts as the video soes not mention and use moly on the threads.

My pleasure man.

I was going to go ahead and mention that as well in an addendum but Shihan beat me to it!

Here's another video that might help you.

30 is not tight enough. I usually torque mine down to around 65 when I use DD Lite rail barrel nuts. Spec is between 35-80 ft-lbs if I remember correctly. With a standard barrel nut, I leave it at whatever setting times the teeth correctly under 80 ft-lbs. It can vary quite a bit, but I never leave it below 35.
