Any suggestion on what yardage you would zero a .22 AR. I intend to shoor it at 100 and less. Has a red dot on the flattop.

50 yards max.

I sighted mine in 2 inches high at 50 and that puts me only an inch or so low at 100. This allows me to practice the department rifle qualification with out adjusting my hold at 100.

When I had my DPMS I zeroed at 25. This was a function of a few things, not the least of which was the innacuracy of the rifle with the ammo I was using. I suppose I could have centered the pattern at 50...

I wouldn't be overly concerned with trying to zero the same way you do with a 5.56 AR. For me, the .22 was for working on close-range stuff at best, including indoor ranges with limited distances.

I have my AR22 (I have an Aimpoint T-1 on a flattop) zeroed at 75 yards.

I have about 40 each 1/4" steel plates that measure about 6" wide and 10" tall (kill zone sized) scattered out from 7-125 yards in my woods and I can hold dead on everything, (125's I hold at the top).

My sniper trainer (bolt gun), I zero at 50 yards and dial for all other ranges.

All my 22LR rifles are sighted in for 50 yards, I haven't treated the AR conversion any different.
