Question on the S&W M&P 45

How does a brand new M&P 45 differ from the first ones produced? Just a modified striker?

It feels like they have cleaned up that single action trigger. While it is not so "faux" double action, samples I've tried are much cleaner in that department.

They've definitely done something in recent years. When they first came out, I tried one at gotm4's shop and the trigger was horrible! Last year, I went back to look at an XD45 but they were out, so I took another look at an M&P45.

The trigger was 200% better than the first one I tried, and it came home with me.

I even bought an M&P9c afterward. What's wrong with me??
