Specifically, this one (http://www.bravocompanyusa.com/YHM-Low-Profile-Gas-Block-p/yhm-9383%20gas%20block%20short.htm)?

I have a barrel coming that has no gas block or front sight of any kind, and need to add one. Was thinking of sending the barrel along with a YHM as pictured to ADCO for pinned install.

I have used one. Seems a quality piece, everything aligns/fits well. The machined faces are square. One caveat: Don't know about other versions, but the barrel dimpler that is available from Rainier for example, will not work for the YHM block.

Just noticed that you are considering pinning. I see no obstructions in that case.

They are a hair larger then the Vltor/Noveske and the gastube hole is a through hole not a blind hole like the Vltor/Noveske. I'm guessing they are made of mild steel and not 17-4PH SS like the Vltor/Noveske. They are a good buy at $20 for sure.
