Can someone recommend a really good can for my .308 bolt gun. I am having a GAP gun built and I want to get rolling on a really good can.
Thanks.

QSM 300, AAC Cyclone, and SWR OMEGA 300.

Also look into some Engels Ballistic Research Thumper ammo. If you want to get a feel for what it sounds like listen to my video:

GO Advanced the surefire is nice but I have seen the welds break on full auto.

He's putting it on a bolt gun, I don't think full auto abusive firing will happen in his intended application. :p

not counting that M4 barrels will warp after 500 rounds sustained full auto, how is the application of a bolt gun anywhere near compatible to full auto?

7.62 SD from AAC is a great choice. Then you can put it on your other rifles too. That is if you don't allready have one for them. Mine is really quiet on my FAL with the gas turned off, so I would expect same or better on your GA. Must post pics when rifle is done please.

OPS Inc! Have George and the boys at GAP turn the barrel down to include the shoulder which centers the can with the barrel. Install the OPS break and you will be very happy. This is my plan for a new .223 bolt gun running a OPS 15 can.

OPS 3rd model ...

Best investment I ever made in my .308 stick.

OPS 3rd can w/ TAB suppressor cover.

Rem 700, 24" barrel, threaded, profiled & collared for OPS 3rd.
