Duracoat. How easy is it?

I've got a sniper/varmint AR that I would like to color. I've looked at Duracoat for years, and have seen many rifles with it applied, and it looks great. My questions are how easy is it? Do you HAVE to bake it on? Can I apply it to my A2 buttstock? Can i apply it to some magazines?

You could always try Brownells Alumahide II. There is videos on their website showing how to apply it.
No bake and air cure; I believe it's a polymer based coating just like Dura-Coat.
