A friend of mine is looking at a 6721 about a year old...500--600 rds...single point sling adapter. Guy wants 1500....is it worth it??

Too high. That rifle should be around $1k.

Thanks bro. I was unsure because it seems the going price down here for those in gun shops is 1900.
