If I need to cut down my magpul xtm rail panels whats the best way to cut them and leave a straight line? Any suggestions?

I cut a couple with a hacksaw. Once the initial track is cut in the plastic, it's pretty easy to keep a straight line. I think a dremel tool would have been better/easier though.

Be warned that they do not fit as tightly once one of the locking tabs is gone.

I ground a couple down with a bench grinder. Used the side of a wheel and the ground down perfectly.

Dremil tool for me. Pain in the bum bum, but it worked.

The bench grinder took seconds each and they came out perfect. I'd try that.
