I'm pretty sure that 700 x is a pistol/shotgun powder which you definitely don't want to use in a 223
Nope. I might be able to dig up a subsonic load but is it really worth it. Just get some powder suitable for 223.
Don't do it...That is a shotgun/pistol powder.
Burns too fast for use in a rifle.

For 223 I say NO., NO, NO.
I used to use it for my .32 ACP cap gun and that was it. Cap guns long gone now.
Hi-Skor 700-X This extruded flake powder is ideally suited for shotshells in 12 and 16 gauge where clay target and light field loads are the norm. It doubles as an excellent pistol target powder for such cartridges as the 38 Special and 45 ACP and many more.

Use it for .45 acp. 4.5 g / 230 FMJ.
