Colt 6920 vs.6721

First question from a new guy here. Sorry if it has been asked before. I reviewed the comparison list and saw all the specs of the 6920. I have both a 6920 and a 6721 and was just wondering if the 6721 had most of the same specs as the 6920. I know the barrel profile is not the same. Are the internals the same? BCG? chrome barrel and such. Thanks!

Depends which 6721 you have.

Mine is a 1996 LE model that came with a chrome lined barrel, but has the fully emasculated carrier.

I think the current production 6721s and 6920s are all coming with the same 16 carrier group. At least I haven't read anyone who say theirs didn't come that way.

The internals are the same expect the twist rate.

The 6721 should also have regular carbine handguards (non fat M4 handguards) if it was made before 2008.
