Am wanting to build a recce type upper with a 16" middy barrel and am wondering the preference for front sights?
Flip up gas block style or low profile gas block with the front sight mounted on the handguard rail?

I am sure that some do not agree with me here... but a rail mounted site is not my favorite setup, it just seems more better to be on the barrel.

The folding sight that I would recommend is not widely available, but I suspect that will change sometime around... ummm, the second week of January -- if you can wait that long?

Is it made in Florida??

My absolute favourite is the KAC flip up front sight gasblock.

Since Noveske will pin it (if you buy John's barrels) it makes a sweet setup

Unless KAC is offering complete 16" Middy URX uppers (hint) with it.

My tribute to Lumpy ;) pic
