They're out of stock now. I got the second to last one, and a couple of minutes later the last one went as well. This batch was Recce Midlength, and actually included the BUIS and handguards for $995 total.
Why did I not see this until now? Was this really posted at 8pm? I keep missing this stuff!!!
They have full recce rifles in stock for $2k.

Yeah, I've been thinking about an SBR, but I think I'll still hold out and save $250 by picking up an LMT.
I care. I am just debating wether to buy this upper or buy a Noveske 12.5 barrel and build the upper myself. I think I would rather suppress the 12.5 rather than the 10.5.

How about a complete Colt SBR? Either the 10.3" (I think it is), or the 11.5"?
I cannot remember for the life of me, but I think the 6933 is the 10.3" maybe, and the 11.5" is the "Commando"? Maybe that's all wrong, I can't ever remember.
Regardless, does anyone know where a Colt SBR upper or possibly complete rifle is?
Second choice would be an LMT Mk18 10.5" upper. Prefer new/unused and priced right.

Oh yeah, I know about the BCM Novekse 10.5". I've put that thing in my cart about 5 times in the last few days, and each time I re-think it, and back down.
I'd really rather have an 11.5" Colt or BCM. Maybe even an LMT as they are the best priced.
We'll see what happens. Need to see who's got what in stock for what price first though. Colt SBR's have been non existant on GB lately... Not that I'd pay those prices anyhow...

The going rate for an LMT is about $600 on gunbroker (retail $485).
At $600, the Noveske at $750 is a no brainer, given you'll get the money back in longevity (the barrel should last atleast 50% more rounds as the LMT). In my opinion, the trouble with the carbine/shorty systems will probably be gas port erosion after that point, where you might need to step up to a heavier buffer on an old barrel.
The Noveske is a great product - but I feel like you start to see the value of their CHF barrels on something like a 16" mid-length.

i got the oversold note as well.... if i see Rainier selling these on GB (like they did for LMT pistons) that will be the last I deal with them....

i'd be really surprised if that happened- rainiers pretty straight up. very good reputation.. i cant imagine they'd be willingto risk that for a few hundred extra bucks in this lucrative climate.
They did in fact place a few highly sought after items on gunbroker a little while back but those never made it to their site. One was a piston LMT upper and I believe they had a couple other items as well.

Have you contacted Josh at Clyde Armory? www.policeguns.com. josh@policeguns.com. I believe they have factory 6933s in stock for $1495. The 6933 has an 11.5 inch barrel. Specialized Armament was offering (and may still offer) the 6920SP (or maybe it is the 6921SP), which has a 10.5 inch barrel.

So they sell them on GunBroker big deal. God forbid they should get the price that someone is willing to pay for it.

carrico'z armory pulled that same crap.. i bought a few parts from him, then right after the election i emailed him about some MEGAs and he said he had several in stock, so i called/emailed trying to buy a couple- all of the sudden he wasn't responsive, and about a week later the website showed out of stock for all MEGAs and he had a bunch on gunjoker starting at a higher price. no more business with that guy.
