For anyone interested about obtaining suppressors in Colorado and their use, Gemtech and Suarez International will be holding the following course August 22, 2009 for $350. Price includes ammo for the day to be used in Gemtech's weapons.

Bring your own firearm and they will have cans to use on them as well. Bring your own ammo for your own weapon.

TACTICAL SUPPRESSED WEAPONS
Denver, Colorado

In this class participants will receive instruction in the history, theory, operation, maintenance, and tactical uses and employment of various suppressed weapons systems. We will also discuss various legal issues and how easy it is to own a suppressor, as well as licensing issues. Sample paperwork will be available.

This Class is factory supported by Gemtech, world class manufacturer of firearm suppressors. Gemtech representatives will be providing several suppressed weapon systems for participants to handle and shoot as well as answer questions about civilian ownership of firearm suppressors.

Since we will be using suppressors provided by Gemtech, only Gemtech supplied ammunition may be used in the supplied pistols for this class and that is reflected in the pricing. Round count will be approximately 250 rds per participant through various 9mm and 45 ACP weapons systems. Participants are encouraged to bring personally owned rifles and rifle cal ammunition, there will be a variety of suppressors for common military style rifles.(5.56, 7.62. etc.)
