Looking for information ont he Sun Devil lowers. I have seen small pics, and like what I see.

Anyone got one and have pics, or impressions of how they like it?

I have one as well but I haven't had a chance to build it up yet. Stickman's pictures certainly make me want to move it up on the priority list :D

SunDevil makes a well machined billet lower (and upper) that have a clean look, and nice lines. The checkering up front doesn't detract from any functionality, and it does give a little more grip texture.

The SunDevil billet uppers do NOT have a forward assist.

Sure would be nice if they were readily available.. Seems like every where you look they are out of stock with no ETA on getting more in.

I was talking about the lowers. And I have already spoken with John and basically he doesn't know. It is a waiting game as of now.

Yes this is true. I love the receivers but it is difficult to actually talk to some one there and respond to your order.

They seemed stretched too thin and would not provide an insurance certificate (or name of the insurance co.) so I cannot use them on my customer builds. That's too bad because they are nice.

For those VA guys interested, I've seen Sun Devil lowers every now and then at the gunshows at Richmond (next show 13-14 Jan) and/or Hampton (next show 27-28 Jan). Of course, that's no guarantee that there will be any there in the future.

Please forgive the intrusion,but I did notice that the Sun Devil upper only works with their lower due to pivot pin area is wider machined with tighter tolerences on Rainier web site.Hope this is of value.
