and to surprise, it was park'd under the FSB :o Some other things I noticed was the M4 cuts were lined up great, it had the M4 stamp in the upper receiver, the BCG was a semi, but the bolt was marked MP, and had the correct black insert, with spring and o-ring.

Of corse the castle nut was staked very well, and the staking on the BCG was decent, but I do believe a couple turns from a MOJAKS is warranted. The only thing I can think of that they could do is use the better barrel with a 1/7 twist, a H-Buffer, and a M16 carrier.

S&W is getting it very right now days, and are getting very close to 'ideal'.

Very nice. Could you provide the general serial number range of your rifle?

Excellent news, I just recently purchased the 15x model and have been quite happy with the fit, finish, and function of the rifle.

My GA order comes tomorrow and I hand off the duty pager. So after planting 4 trees and two bushes this weekend that the wifey bought, I will be stepping out back and put a lot of rounds down range to continue the break-in process.
