H&K P8 and a SINN 757
my two favorites
I love the big N-frame, 3-3 1/2" barreled S&W revolvers.
Yeah, I like my bottom feeders too . . . but there's something special about a gorgeous, sculpted revolver that has an incredible trigger and a personality to match!
Here's a moon-clipped, .45ACP revolver along with S&W's "Cadillac" revolver, the M27 series . . . the only one with the fully checkered top strap (including the top of the rear sight). Both great revolvers indeed.

This is my HK P7 PSP given the custom treatment by Cogan APW. I had them-
-Install Trijicons
-Hard chrome the weapon with matte finish
-Action / trigger polish job
This weapon was a German police trade in. It is now CCW worthy and is a tack driver. It fed modern JHP ammo without a hitch, including Winchester Ranger T 127 grain +P+, as well as Speer Gold Dots.
One of my off duty carry rigs. I can't speak highly enough about the Cross Breed holster. I can wear it when biking with the family, it is VERY comfortable.

Here's a pic of my HK45 full size with an Insight Technology light.
This is the only non striker fired pistol I'll probably never part with, and it is my current HD pistol.
Fit, finish, reliability and accuracy are all superb.
My only complaint is the cost and availability of .45 ACP ammunition these days, and this is why most of my handgun shooting is done with a 9mm.
The brown box of military ammo I purchased in early 2009 at a gun shop in Opal, VA. They had three boxes of it at $15 a box, so I bought all three.

My S&W Model 64. Hogue grips made a big difference over the small round butt stock grips. Just got the holster, a C5 Leather Montana model.
My first gun, a HK P30 9mm V3. I used to hate HK, because all of their guns that I held felt like giant, uncomfortable bricks. I was initially set on a 1911, but after looking at ammo costs, and being swayed by the capacity argument, I decided to go with a 9mm. The first time I picked this gun up, I knew I had to have one.
Still kicking myself for not shooting a M&P first before purchasing though. I don't know why, but I completely ignored them. :(

Just got back from the range. It ate 340 rounds, no problems at all. Mix of 115gr, 124gr +P, and 124gr JHP.
My trigger control is getting better, but now my grip is screwing with me. I still don't have it down.
I hereby nickname Speer Gold dot rounds "Sparky", for the giant sparkler that erupts every time I fire one.
Nice to see you know how to load an HK magazine correctly. :p
Is there any other way? :P

My 1964 Walther P-1. I've always wanted a P-38, but couldn't afford/justify the price for a 'real' one. This one has served as a surrogate. It has the best sights I've ever seen on an original service pistol, with a wide u-notch rear, though the front sight is a bit too narrow for quick acquisition. Were it not for the heel magazine release, it'd make a decent low-budget carry pistol or truck gun.

Nice picture! got that in a bigger size? :D
Noticed you're located on Mercer Island, I'm in Bellevue. We should hook up and get to the range sometime. Would love to try out that P30!;)
H&K, our guns are so awesome, even backwards bullets will come out the right way.
Hahahahahaha! Hilarious!

awesome looking BHP...i would love to afford / have the opportunity to own an SRT done by heirloom
SRT I have nothing but foul words for that... I want a Yost Hi-Power soooooooo bad! I'm hoping to get an FN Hi-Power with the S# on the frame and have it checkered. Is that an FN or did they move the S#?
Beautiful gun! I was at Ted's shop years ago... nice guy too!
Did you get his special 1911 reset done to the trigger?

It started life as a Browning Practical, so that Ted wouldn't have to checker (50 lpi) around the serial number on the front strap. It has the short trigger reset modificatin. I've known Ted for many moons, and am fortunate enough to own several of his creations, including the original prototype SRT model. You may have noticed that the BHP I've pictured has different, one of a kind SRT engraving.
Ted is a great guy and IMHO, the finest pistolsmith I've ever known, and I've known many ($$$$) over the years. Young Jason Burton is becoming quite a smith in his own right.
Hope you get your SRT soon. It is absolutely the finest BHP available. Tell Ted SRT said hello.
Stay safe,

Colt Official Police, manufactured in 1943 or '44 according to proofhouse.com based on the serial number. I bought this a couple of months ago for about $250. It was a police officer's duty gun for a number of years and it shows a good bit of wear. It shoots amazingly, though, and everything is tight and smooth. It also came with the original holster, which is amazing--to activate the release you have to push your finger through the trigger guard.

It's a neat gun, but it seems to me it must have been intended to shoot one handed or with some other other grip, because using my support hand how I've trained there is nowhere to put my left thumb comfortably. I was surprised that the sights were of the 2 white dot variety, which I thought was a more modern setup than the mid 80's.

Rabbit hunting with handguns is really a great way to practice. If you can hit a running jackrabbit with a handgun while it is ducking in and out of the brush, hauling ass, you can hit just about anything.

8&3/8ths" 44 magnum (29-2) . I was shooting ground squirrels up on the Pahsimeroi Valley, where Elmer Keith used to hunt.
The trick with shooting ground squirrels is to let them get behind their mounds, shoot low and launch them a looong ways into the air. The higher the launch the better! Keeps them intact too!

I picked up this Tuff® Roo™ Size #10 pocket holster at this year’s ‘SS’ as I’ve been searching for a basic, quality, and USA manufactured holster for my Charter Arms® On-Duty™ and I do believe that this system is going to work quite nicely for the 5-shot .38 revolver ... and for my pocket carry needs.

Roo™ Holster Combo” is proudly Made in the U.S.A. and combines a non-rigid pocket holster with an additional pocket for a spare magazine or one of our 5-round Quick Strips for a .38 revolver. (QuickStrip™ not included.) The addition of the 5 round Quick Strip is a nice bonus to an otherwise useful holster when one considers the goal of a pocket firearm is to strike the ultimate balance between what you would like to carry and what you need. The magazine pocket is angled in such a way that it does not overly enlarge the footprint of the holster within the pocket by making as much use of available space below the trigger guard as practical. This design has the added bonus of limiting the extent to which the shape, as seen from the outside, doesn’t look like a firearm, thus, enhancing concealability. The holster has an outer surface with more friction than the inside so that drawing the gun will be unlikely to drag the holster with it allowing for a clean and fast presentation of the firearm.
Went looking for a G19 yesterday for an upcoming CCW Class...and came home with this instead.

I just picked this up. Ive been hunting for a 92G a long time. I think I got a great deal on it. Its in excellent condition. I like the grip on this gun, much more than any other Beretta I own.

I carried a Detective Special for years. I gave it to my brother when he needed a CCW piece. I will purchase another for myself when I get home from this deployment.
