Shane's Pink Glock 19

I Cerakoted a Glock 19 pink this week.
It was a pain in the butt to paint, but it came out well

The real back story to the gun is as follows:

My Chief recently found out that he might have a 26 y/o daughter. They met, had a paternity test and it turned out positive. Everybody is happy as he has always wanted a child and she a father.

So, as a way for them to bond he decides to get her a gun (actually he is pretty much in the process of equipping her with an arsenal, but that's another story) so that they can spend time together and teach her a skill that will benefit her.

Well he got two Austrian proof marked G19's. He was kind of surprised when they came in as they are consecutively serial numbered. So he was happy with that too. As for the PINK, it is her favorite color and she is big into breast cancer awareness. Mike said he could cerakote it pink for her. After two trips to Jasper it was done.

Mike is happy. The Chief and his daughter are happy. I am undecided at this point if I should say if I am happy too, because certain people may construe that as me stating that I am gay, which for the record I am not. Sam call me, lol.


Edited to add: Mike is a genuinely good guy who goes way out of his way to help a friend out, and he makes really good kydex too. He coordinated all of the arraignments to get the pepto colored paint and worked really hard at getting this project done for me and the Chief. He also made a drop holster, mag pouch, and a custom kydex insert for her new pink coronado leather gun purse. Just a public thanks for all of your work, hard time, friendship, and top notch kit.
