What Optic should I put on my 12.5" registered SBR

I've got an Aimpoint Micro on my 10.5" registered SBR. I'm very tempted to get another (only this time, I'd get the Larue Mount).

The optics included in the poll are based on my preferences, uses and budget. Heck, if I could afford it I'd get 1 $1300 ACOG.
IMHO an Aimpoint T1 or M2 or if your into EOtech's the 556 but not many people seem to like them
BTW what length handguard is that on the 12" upper?

I'm surprised that nobody has voted for the Millett DMS-1 Scope yet. I thought it was a pretty good scope. Maybe not as good as I've heard:confused:.

Probably because a lot of people don't like putting a heavy optic on a light/handy carbine. The DMS-1 is a decent piece of glass for the price, but it's heavy and better suited to other uses, IMO.
For my SBR's, I haven't found anything that works as well as the Aimpoint micros. Slap an H1 on that rifle and call it a day. :)

Depends on the use of the rifle. Most SBR's would be used in a CQB setting and this is where the Amipoint Micro shines (thus my vote for the micro).
I run a M3 in a cantilever LT mount and its a great setup, but as soon as I have the funds I'll be putting a micro on it.
I wouldn't put any dedicated magnified optics on an SBR in 5.56, but would consider doing so on a 6.8. For your rifle, I'd mount an H-1, and if you're interested in adding magnification I'd do so with a Larue Po Boy magnifier that you can tip out of the way when you don't need it and remove completely when you really don't need it.
