View Full Version : ETA
You guys use ETA alot. But I believe you are using a different meaning than I am used to. It means estimated time of arrival to me. Seems to mean "for example" the way I see it being used. Can someone fill me in?
Thanks,
Mike
It does seem to be one of those unexplained contextual things, but I've always taken it to be "Edited To Add." Usually followed by whatever was added via a post edit.
The original is Estimated time of arrival, all else is aftermarket, no mil-spec/LEO:cool:
ETA = Edited To Add

In the context of message boards that is.
I still use the original ETA everyday at work.

When does the Teir 1 vs. Teir 2 acronym thread start?

That depends on who you know and what gear you carry:eek:
ETA, as opposed to Valjoux or Lemania.
(Cohiba will probably get this one)
