That's a superb gift. My father wants to buy me a Pistola... We agreed on a Ruger SP101, although I'm still waiting on the official word to get it...

My father gave me his old Colt for my B-day a few years back. Still to this day the best B-day present I have ever received from anyone.

Not so much because of the gun but because of the man giving it to me!

Thanks guys..I want to know if I can change out the rear adj sight? I also want to change the grips out and that will be all. Maybe some Alumagrips would look killer.

That is a beautiful 1911. I wish I had one just like it.

I remember my dad gave me a two-tone Sig P226 9mm and P220.

Very nice. I'd keep the grips stock. They're purty, and it was a gift from your dad.

I hope my girls feel the same way about me as I do about my father.
Thats more than a gift, and should always be remembered as such.
