PMAG grid/grip texture...lower?

was looking to buy a few more pmags. saw a pic on the pmag page at g&r tactical. looks like the grid/grip texture on the outside of the pmag is less pronounced. has the grip texture height changed for some reason?

The Ribs were reduced in height for molding reasons (it is stronger this way). The actual wall thicknes has not changed.
