Thanks. I was waiting on an official reply, but knew asking here would elicit a faster response.

Good work btw. Thanks!
i love noveske, but that's just too damn much for an empty upper. i can't believe how much they've gone up in 6 months
I wonder if the price increase has to do with the production increase costs. I think a lot of companies doubled production overnight and that's probably not cheap.

dont think so- nobody else has jacked up their prices like NRW. LMT i think has gone up a few bucks- but not hundreds.
i'm talking factory price, not gunshop price.
no, noveske just knows people will pay more for his rifles, and if people will pay the price, that's what they're worth. i won't criticize it, but i won't buy any uppers from him either. just barrels.
Or maybe he's trying to rapidly build up capital for a new weapon type of small arms weapon system he's developing. Wouldn't that be crazy. Ha ha ha
(I know you don't have to say it :-D....)
The complete uppers including BUIS $125, BCG $130, CH $25 use to sell for $875. At $840, it's a $245 "sign of the times" premium.
OR, subtract the $110 for the upper receiver and $20 for the M4 handguards, you're paying $710 for a complete barrel assembly (including front sight, gas tube, and pinned/welded Vortex).

i paid $710 for a custom complete SPR barrel assembly with matched bolt, MUR, and vortex MD in september of '08
the N4 lite carbine upper I bought directly from Noveske earlier this month came with BCG/charging handle/Troy rear BUIS for $995

From what I know only the low pro uppers have the re-branded MUR. However, due to shortages even they have not been coming with the MUR lately.

no... its never a mystery which upper receiver you're getting. you pay extra for a MUR- so if you didnt order a MUR and pay extra for it, you're not getting it.

How do you guys know the stock levels at Bravo CO? Do you call them, or is it on the website? I have looked and can't find a stock level?

Go to the item in question and add it to your cart. Go into your cart and change the quantity of that item to a huge number and hit recalculate. An error will come back saying,
The quantity of the following item in your cart has been adjusted to meet the available quantity we currently have in stock
You will then see a new quantity in your cart which should represent what the system still sees in stock.

Thanks man

Ya, that's what I got. So I'd gladly pay the additional $160 for BCG, Troy BUIS and CH. Doesn't seem that it's Noveske jacking up their prices.
Seems like some sanity is returning to the upper half market. Even the BCM 11.5s still show in stock.
Hopefully the ammo market will stabilize over the next few months too.
The constructive intent tin foil crowd is just scaring people into not buying them.

My only complaint is that they aren't being sold as a package anymore, you still have to hunt down a decent BCG/CH. I wouldn't balk at this price, especially considering how hard they have been to find anywhere at all lately.

I thought the deal I got @ Rainier Arms on a Noveske Basic Middy was better. I think I only payed about $750.

I'm talking about what companies get in stock like Rainier, SGC, etc....not ordering one directly from them which you can't even do anymore. If you read the description, the low pros are supposed to come with MUR uppers however the ones I bought from Rainier a couple weeks ago did not. Their basic uppers do not have MUR included in their description. I'm not an idiot :D
