View Full Version : Picture of M&P 45

This one is black and doesn't have the ambi thumb safety. I felt really good in my hand, only a hair larger in the grip area than my 9mm. If you put the large palm swell on the 9mm you'll have the feel of the M&P 45 with the small grip insert.
The S&W rep said it will hit the street in March. We'll see about that. I'm going to get one.
Thanks Sam, thats a great photo.
I cannot wait to get my hands on one.
Ernest Langdon was going to do a live fire demo on Saturday, but all my other business was done and I left last night. We'll see if their promise of March arrival will come true.
i love my MP 9mm so I cant wait to get my hands on the .45
any idea as to pricing when they do arrive?
Im also highly intrigued by the FNP-45......wonder when those are coming out.....;)
The S&W rep said the 45 price will be approx. $40-50 more than the 9mm.
wow...thats not bad at all...maybe I can convince gotm4 and bernie at VA Arms to just bring one back for me!

Wow, that is impressive.
I assumed it would be $100-$200 more than the 9mm.
There's a couple of photos here including a pic of the OD model: http://mp-pistol.com/boards/viewtopic.php?t=1847
One rep today said that they are "already in production". They are quite nice and a thumb safety model will be a must have (for me anyway.

I have an M&P 9mm on the way right now....
If I like it, the .45 version will be the next handgun I buy.
I hade a chance to play with the M&P 45 at SHOT. Its better in person! The LE rep told me that LE orders and requests for T&E pistols will start shipping in February.

The M&P .45 may very well be my next handgun purchase as well.
For those that have handled the M&P .45: Can you 'ride' the thumb safety ala the 1911?
