I have a 12" sbr that ive built to mainly shoot suppressed but have an issue with my setup. My problem is the bolt will fail to lock back on the last round but other than that function is fine. I think the buffer type or weight is whats causing my issue but want to see what yall think would be the next step softer (lighter?) than what i have. I really like how smooth the rifle shoots now.

Currently my parts are:
-Noveske barrel
-Young NM carrier diamondblack coated
-plain old carbine spring
-Enidine carbine recoil buffer
-Magpul UBR (uses shorter entry buffer tube if i remember right)

The ammo used was plain WWB .223 so i know its not the most powerful ammo but its what i have so i want it to work right.

I have a H3 buffer i know but i may also have an H2 or an H if i scavenge some rifles for testing. I also have a couple of the Tubb flatwire springs.

Any ideas before i start taking apart rifles for parts?

the enidine is causing the problem- those things are notorious

Sell the Enidine crap and buy some H or H2 buffers from Bravocompany or other reputable dealer maybe G&R has them.

Although I like how the Enidine buffer feels in some guns. I agree that they cause a lot of problems. I to would ditch it and run a H2 buffer if you'll be shooting that suppressed as you said most of the time.
