View Full Version : XTM panels in UDE?
I'd love to get a handful of XTM panels in Larue's UDE color, but they only sell the full UDE set of furniture, which I do not need. I have contacted Larue about the possibility of getting them separately, but I haven't heard back yet and I'm not too hopeful since the site specifically says "Available only as a complete set."
Anyone seen any on the secondary market? Or is there anywhere else I could get them as a separate item?

I haven't seen any of the UDE kit on the secondary market and after I received mine I can see why. I love this color. The only vendor for the color is Larue. It's a specific color he requested from Magpul. The reason they are only sold as a kit is that's how they are received from Magpul and then they add their FUG.
If you bought the kit I'm pretty sure you could unload what you didn't want pretty easily.
Yea, I didn't figure anyone would be displeased, just maybe that they had the furniture set and didn't need the panels at all (or were only using some of them).
Buying the full kit and selling unwanted parts will be my last resort option, but I'm hoping I can work something out before taking that step.

im beginning to like this UDE
Hope this helps...
I needed and extra set of UDE XTMs and emailed LaRue.
LaRue was very helpful. They said that the XTMs were not available on the web site and advised to call with my order. I did and UDE XTMs are on the way.
After I ordered the UDE kit I called and said Iused a middie so needed 2 more packs. They took care of me. But then Larue has always been pretty good to me.
You guys are correct. LaRue got back to me in email and said that even though I couldn't order them online, if I called in I could order the XTM panels in UDE on their own. So hopefully I get them soon now :D
Another thumbs up for friendly and helpful service at LaRue.
It only took 2 or 3 days for the XTM panels to get to me, along with some other stuff I ordered from LaRue. Of course, as usual, they threw in some extra goodies.
I like the UDE panels, although I think I am glad I didn't get an entire set of furniture. It works well in adding another shade to my multi-colored rail, but I wouldn't want all of the weapon's furniture to be quite this light in color. The UDE really changes in different light. Under some light it is almost impossible to tell apart from FG while under other lighting it is a night and day contrast.
Just some faded "distressed" ACU pattern shorts:

On a FG PMAG:

And on their own (UDE is second to last):

They came out pretty white in this shot:
