My DD M4 carbine is almost complete.

Thanks to Rainier, G and R Tactical, Bravo Company, and Magpul, It's functional and will get wrung out pretty well tomorrow at the Range.

Tacticool carpet was unintentional, and my lousy point and shoot was all I had on hand.

Very very nice setup. I especially like the color sceme.

One question though. With your VFG so far back how do you engage the light? Is this a personal thing for comfort etc? I would think moving it forward closer to the end of the rifle would help with accuracy especially transitioning from one target to the next. Not a knock here just curious is all.

Again congrats on the build. She's a beaut.

I haven't settled on the right position for the VFG or the light. I imagine the grip will be moving forward, I plan on working that out at the range tomorrow.

As far as the build, I can't really take credit on that, all I did was pick the parts, and slap on the stock, panels, optics, and sights.

I have a similar placement for my VFG, for me, control.

No it's not pink, put down the rose colored glasses. ;)

Cool gun! Cooler carpet! Ha! I'm building my first AR and actually will be having the same color scheme. What rear sight are you running?

I usually grip the handguard just in from the FSB.. hit the button with my thumb. VFG is basically just an oh-shit bar, for me.

Fine looking rifle. I bet you'll be pleased with it.

After almost a year I should have most of the parts to put mine together soon, just waiting on an order from Grant. I'm excited. My friend has all his parts and is ready to build but has been waiting on me. Perhaps by the Fourth we'll have a pair ready to roll.

Gotcha.

I guess it's just different strokes for different folks in the end.
