wWalmart value pack

Any one have any luck finding the 40 round value packs oh WWB .223 JHP? I bought their last box today for 14 bucks. I woulda bought them out if they had more.

Last time I went to wallyworld, all I could find was the HP varmint .223 rounds! I dont buy .223/5.56 from there anymore because they never have any!

I haven't seen any of the wwb 55gr on the shelves for quite some time now and believe they are only carrying the varmit 45gr JHPs - at least in VA.

All ive found in NOVA at Walmart is Remington/UMC Green box. Good training ammo for carbine classes, but not exactly M193 spec ammo. But it lets me keep my SA battlepacks, Lot 1 XM193 and Q3131A put back for a rainy day.

With fighting on two fronts, they haven't been producing the 55gr load. IMI was producing the 55gr value pack for a while but then they intensified their own war on terror and stopped producing for Winchester.

The local Walmart had the Remington 20 packs for $5.24 as well. I was surprised, as they recently renovated the entire store and now the rifles are gone (no longer being sold there) and the ammo display counter is half the size it used to be.

I bought about 7 boxes of Win. 40rd a box for around $8.00 a year ago and that was the end of the .223 stuff since then.
