Im looking to put together another SBR and I want to go with a 10.5 inch. I want the gun to be as light as possible. I already have a 10.5 with a Noveske barrel and a Larue rail but the gun is not as light or nimble as I would want.
I just attended Magpuls carbine class is Miami and shot Chris Costas SBR.....I believe it was a 12 inch and the thing is so light and easy to manipulate that it made my RECCE sized gun feel like a boat anchor.
What manufacturer makes a very high quality but extremely light SBR barrel? Maybe something fluted. I love the look of some of the KAC rifles Ive seen with the golf ball dimpled barrels, I believe they used Lilja barrels.
Something like that would be perfect.
