Well, our 417 ticks away without issues with NATO ammo.

No offense, but I don't consider Military Photos.com a reliable source of information on weapons. I lend even less credence to "a friend said" posts.

One has to wonder how much "end user" experience a 22 year old kid with over 3,000 posts on Militaryphotos.net actually has on either platform. While I've heard reports of some issues with the HK417, I understand it's still in the prototype stages and not in production. I imagine HK will hash out any problems before producing the weapon.
