Young BCG... M16 v. AR?

What is the difference in the Young Manufacturing bolt carriers? I see that there are M16 and AR versions. Please educate me.

An M16 or F/A carrier has more material towards the rear on its under side as seen here (http://global-tactical.com/gtsdennysgunssuperdutyboltcarriergroupm16.aspx). An AR15 or S/A carrier is under cut in the same spot, as shown here (http://www.bravocompanyusa.com/PhotoGallery.asp?ProductCode=BCG%2DCMT%2DMP%2DAR15)
