When do you replace the buffer spring in a 16" carbine? I did a search and didn't really find the answer. Thanks for any help that you can give me as I'm fairly new at this game.

If it is SS about every 3-5K. If is CS, about every 10K +.

10 1/16" for carbine springs, I change mine out when they reach 10 1/4".
