Hi,
Newbie to the forum. I've been lurking around on and off for a while. I am from California (great state to live, huh?). I am not a LEO nor in military but love to shoot ARs & 1911s. I am running Surefire Military light on my 1911 with MR07 adapter. It is a solid unit but it is big and ugly. I've been trying to locate dawson rail surefire military light adapter for a while with no luck.
Does anyone know where I can get the dawson rail adapter for Surefire Military light? I had a lead from 1911 forum and I received it last night with great excitement but it turned out to be an adapter for nitrolon series. I am not sure if is restricted for leo or military sales only?
Any help would be appreciated.
Here's a pic of my current set up.

Why don't you upgrade to a X300 with Dawson rail?

I thought about upgrading it to X300 but I don't know...it just that military light seems more robust and I already have the holster for the military light set up. Besides I have other rail gun (Kimber). so I am just looking for those parts...I know they are out there... somewhere...in sombody's part bin... :(
Thanks,
Brian
