Right now I have enough funds to pick up a M&P 15 at impact guns for 1099.00 with free shipping or should I wait don't know how long it'll take to save up the extra 300 hundred or so to get a colt 6920???? Is the drop off in performance worth waiting and possibly not being able to afford or find a colt 6920 or should I just go ahead and pick up the M&P

6920s are around for $1300 shipped or a little less. With no wait. I'd do that.

The 6920 is a better gun, no doubt, but the M&P is no slouch. I wouldn't feel I had an inadequate gun with a Smithy. The biggest benefit on the Colt is the twist rate. If you don't plan on shooting any 70+ grain ammo or tracers, 1:9 will do fine. The other benefit of the Colt is resale (though I don't ever plan on selling mine). Since the M&P isn't a sizzling price, get what you want. Buy once, cry once.

Like the others stated above regarding the Colt 6920. Also, G&R Tactical and SGCUSA has said model in stock.

Hope you find what you're looking for and spend wisely!

If you go with the M&P, save yourself some money and buy it from Grant at G&R.
