Just got a couple of the Tangodown ARC mags and noticed that the follower has the first round hump on the opposite side than most mags. So when the mag is loaded with an even number of rounds the top round is on the left instead of the right like most mags. I have been told that the AR/M-4 system feeds more reliably with the first round from the right (not sure if that is really and issue or not). Also if you are used to taking the mag out after chambering a round to make sure it is loaded, you normally check to make sure the top round is now on the left but with this mag it will be the opposite. Anyone find any issues with this or do I just happen to have two screwed up mags?

Your mags are correct.

Ther is a reason for the swap and I don't recall off the top of my head what it is.

It has been discussed here before though. Ya might wanna run a search for ARC mags and see what you get.
