Why are there two different shape handguard end caps used on AR's?? I recently picked up a BCM Middy upper assembly that has a triangle end cap, and I am wondering if it will work with the Cav Arms round tapered handguard that I plan to use with it.
Do the triangle end caps work properly with the round handguard such as the Cav Arms middy I mentioned above???
Ultimately which end cap is better (more usable)..........triangle or round??
And finally.......do most BCM upper assemblies come with triangle end caps.....is that then "normal" configuration that they use.
