I have a spikes Tactical .22LR upper and I'm thinking about getting another lower so that upper it's own separate rifle instead of switching uppers every time I want to switch calibers. Any suggestion for a fully built lower in the $300-400 range. Doesn't have to be fancy. Maybe a standard 6 position M-4 stock and good 2 stage trigger. I did look a Spikes lowers but I'm not sure what triggers they use.

I'll probably get hammered for this but I think you couldn't go wrong with a Del-Ton lower for a dedicated 22LR upper.

Like everybody they seem to be on back order though.

I did what you're thinking and got the Spike 22 lower. The complete lower cost $350ish at their current price. I wanted to free up my Colt 6920 lower for another project so I "needed" a dedicated 22 lower.
